About Us

We're the Desert's oldest continuing BBQ and Fireplace business, having started in 1982 on Country Club Drive, and now on Highway 111. Palm Desert has been our home for many, many years and we've managed to stay in business throughout the good, and bad, times.

Desert Fireplaces & BBQ's is a small business, run with the community in mind, and not a large entity that is only interested in sales. We are active in the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce, participate in community affairs, and we're very happy to do it!

We focus on bbq islands and kitchens, portable heaters, fireplace structures, specialty burners for firepits and fireplaces, and all the accessories and equipment for do-it-yourself clients. Our specialty is "Fire N Ice", which are the current 'glass' fireplace set-ups. During the Summer months, our shift focuses to the grills and islands, which we've been doing for more than three decades.

More than 30 years after the opening of Desert Fireplaces & BBQ's, we're still here, still in Palm Desert, and still making customers happy. Come on in and meet our manager, Chris Borowski. He is our resident fireplace "guru". Come pick his brain! We are always happy to help!
